Emotions are the most important thing in any human life – and none of them are remotely definable. You cannot define what an emotion is.So my resolution of that was to put them all on a spectrum. This end [to the right] you have joy, delight, I don’t mind, happy, positive emotions – you like that. Zing [to the left] – negative emotions – fear, terror, whatever – and in between you have guilt, diddley, diddley, diddley. But what I found was – clinically – that you need to concern yourself only with fear.
